3M DisplayPort Male to Mini DisplayPort (DP) Male Cable.
Quick Overview:
This cable would be commonly used to link a MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and/or other graphics cards with a Mini DisplayPort connection, to a display (monitor) that has a standard DisplayPort connection.
This adapter has a mini DisplayPort connection, not mini DVI. Please check your computer before buying this adapter as they both look very similar.

Resolution: Supports resolutions up to 2560k x 1600k
Release Button: The standard DisplayPort connection has a release switch that must be pressed to allow removal from its connection. This ensures that the DisplayPort cable will not fall out of the display it is plugged into.

OFC – The lead is made using 99.99% oxygen free copper which increases the signal quality across the length of the cable.

Cable strain relief to protect the cable – Enables the DisplayPort lead to be bent in a multitude of directions without breaking.
